Corporate and M&A partner Jeremy Leibler, together with lawyer Noah Lipshut advised on the transaction. The sale will see Vistra’s operations in Australia double in size and support its growth in both domestic and international markets.
Leydin Freyer’s founder and managing director Melanie Leydin said: “This is an exciting time for us at Leydin Freyer as this transaction opens the door to new possibilities for both our clients and colleagues. Our clients can now tap into Vistra’s global network to access a wide range of corporate, finance, tax and administration services.”
Jeremy Leibler further commented: “We are pleased to have worked with the Leydin Freyer team on this milestone transaction, which recognises the achievements of Melanie and her market leading team. We wish all parties continued success as they embark on the next stage of their journey together.”
Upon completion of the transaction, Leydin Freyer – an Australian based corporate governance, accounting, and company secretarial services firm – will be rebranded to Vistra.
ABL worked alongside Melbourne-based corporate advisers SLM Corporate in relation to the sale.
