About Harriet

Harriet Craig is a senior associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Litigation practice group.

Harriet has acted in a range of commercial disputes, regulatory investigations, anti-corruption investigations, Royal Commissions and parliamentary inquiries.

Harriet holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.  She joined the firm as a law graduate in 2019 and was admitted to practice in 2020.  Between 2022 and 2024, Harriet was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Delany of the Supreme Court of Victoria.  She returned to the firm in early 2024 as a senior associate, with the appointment effective as of July 2023.

  • ME Bank: Advising on regulatory issues for the $1.325 billion sale to the Bank of Queensland
  • Various corporations and individuals: In relation to ASIC investigations and compulsory production notices
  • Various corporations and individuals: In relation to IBAC investigations and examinations
  • The board of directors of Crown Resorts Limited: In connection with the Royal Commission into the Casino Operator and Licence

Shareholder oppression and corporate governance

  • Various corporations and individuals: Advising on corporate governance, including in relation to board and shareholder disputes and directors’ duties

Defamation

  • A range of clients including directors and high net wealth individuals: in relation to defamation claims made by or against them

Class actions

  • Noumi Limited (formerly Freedom Foods Group Limited): Defending shareholder class actions in the Supreme Court of Victoria
